Gabbi Gifford, CPC, CDEO, CPMA, CRC
Learning under physicians and office managers for on-the-job experience as well as formal education & certifications through AAPC, Gabbi has nearly a decade of billing and coding experience.
Beginning in 2015, Gabbi gained experience as a front desk receptionist, optician, technician, and biller at a local optometry office. From there, her passion for coding and documentation education grew. In 2021, she gained her AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification. Up to date, Gabbi has tested and passed three additional certifications from AAPC-- Certified Documentation Improvement Expert Outpatient (CDEO), Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA), and Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC).
Gabbi started coding and billing as contract work and established Gifford Medical Billing in 2019. As her passion and understanding grew, so did her business and services offered. July 2024 brought a name change and publicly announcing consulting and education services with Philomath Coding. With an ever changing field, providers often cannot keep up with their billing or changes needed in the office. That is where Gabbi can step in and provide relief.
